Adventure Lifestyle Shoot in Rappahannock River Valley | Trust for Public Land

In September, I had the privilege of working with Trust for Public Land to capture a library of lifestyle images at a few TPL protected project locations within Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge. We found and directed volunteer models in the area to help recreate some of the activities that visitors might enjoy on the properties, such as kayaking, crabbing, fishing, birding and hiking. The property owners took us around the land by Gator and the river by boat to capture some interesting areas and perspectives.
As well as the outdoor activities, TPL wanted some great landscape and drone photos that showcased the features of the river and the landscape. We partnered with Joey Tran to capture some beautiful drone landscape images and were even fortunate enough to get an incredible sunset as the day closed. It was a HOT but great shoot day and I think we really captured some nice images!
TPL plans to use these images to promote their mission, which includes protecting and preserving these landscapes and helping more people in the area to connect to nature’s benefits. We were thankful to have had the opportunity to support this mission through photography!
